How to Choose a Book with Your Child

How do children learn to read, and what can parents do to support them along the way? We will discuss the phases of learning to read, how to understand where you child is on that path, how to select book for them, provide appropriate feedback, foster motivation and engagement, and manage roadblocks and challenges. This talk will include information, suggestions, demonstrations, and opportunities for participant questions and discussion.
